DMV Required 40-hours of Classroom Training

Class A & Class B CDL Training

If you have failed your DMV General Knowledge test 3 times, the Virginia DMV requires 40-hours of Classroom Training.

CDS Tractor Trailer Training can deliver this classroom instruction for you. Once you complete our 40-hour program, CDS will then provide you with the required documentation to allow unlimited opportunities to take the learners permit test at DMV.

Classroom instruction includes: Control Systems, Vehicle Systems, Vehicle Inspection, Speed and Space Management, Hazard Perception and Accident Procedures.

 

Program Length: 40-Hours

Class Start: Class begins on each class start date for the specific training center. This program consists of 5 days of training lasting 8 hours each.

Training Locations: The 40-Hour DMV Training can be held at any of the CDS Virginia locations.

Tuition: We provide this training at no additional cost if you have previously taken our Class A or Class B CDL Training. If you are coming to us from another training facility, please contact us directly for pricing information.
